BCA A Career Option
If a student is interested in making his or her career in the field of computers then perusing BCA is a good option. After completion of the same course one can go for software or hardware jobs in IT sector at metro cites as well as abroad too. BCA is terms as Bachelor in Computers Application course at UG level with three years program.
Eligibility for BCA course: - candidate should have 10 +2 degree mark sheet from CBSE or recognized school with at least 50% marks. Maximum age of applying for the course is 19 years. If computer was a subject at 10+2 level would be prefer most. Student from any stream either commerce, arts or science can pursue BCA after 12th standard. The students who do not have Math’s a subject at 12th class need to study one additional subject MTE (Mathematical Instrument) in BCA course.
Admission Process for BCA: - some documents must have to submit at the time of admission includes 10+ 2 mark sheets duly attested by some government officer , a school living certificate , residential proof certificate. A few institutes are conducting entrance exams too for BCA.

Career Opportunities after BCA: - this is very competitive age in the job sector too. So it’s better to go for higher studies like MCA or MBA and then start hunting for jobs. If you score more than 70% marks in the UG level then many scholarship programs have been running for those students in some selected colleges. So give your 100 to studies and opportunities would wait for you for the returns after BCA too. After completion of MCA there are ample opportunities in MNC’s Like DELL, HP, Infosys, Wipro, TCS etc.
Some software companies are providing the in-house studies options too for their graduated employees like ‘Wipro’ has introduced a course as WASE, so any dedicated employee can study at the same time of working in MNC. Perusing MCA is equivalent to B.E in Computer Science, so the MCA degree gives more attraction to your CV. And many IT company will please to hire you with it.
