About Bgs International Residential School - Bengaluru
BGS International Residential School, Bangalore, India, was founded by His Holiness Jagadguru Padmabhushana Dr. Sri Sri Sri Balagangadharanatha Swamiji of Adichunchanagiri Math, in 1997 and formally inaugurated on 19th January 2001 by the then Prime Minister of India Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The school is one of the finest centers of learning in India. It is an English medium, co-educational and also residential school having foreign and NRI students from all over the world.
The school reposes in the lap of nature off Bangalore-Mysore National Highway, in a sprawling 100 acres of safe and pollution free environment surrounded by a beautiful valley. The campus is absolutely calm, quiet, with large areas of gardens, lawns and playgrounds that merges with nature.
The courses of study and curriculum have been designed with an aim that students from all over the world can take their Secondary and Senior Secondary school certificate examination under the Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E), International General Certificate of Secondary Education (I.G.C.S.E), Secondary School Leaving Certificate (S.S.L.C) and Pre-University levels I & II under the Karnataka State scheme of education.
