Kiddies Corner - Amar Colony

Kiddies Corner today is a leading preparatory school and guarantees admission to the best convent and public schools. For over 18 years, we have been testing and enhancing our curriculum, becoming one of the leading child education centers in Delhi.

Mr. U. S. Gujral  and Mrs. Rekha Gujral both retired defense  officers, founded Kiddies Corner in 1985 with the aim to provide a warm and caring setting which encourages each child to develop socially, physically, emotionally and intellectually at their own pace.

Our aim is to instill discipline in thought and action and make our students responsible and self-reliant. We propose to educate our students by developing in them respect for life and concern for others and widen their perspective through interactive workshops.

Kiddies Corner believes in providing an educational program that caters for individual needs. The program is designed so that the children are given the opportunity to reach their full potential in cognitive, emotional, social language, fine and gross motor skills. Because the program caters for individuals, children go along at their own pace. The program fosters independence by offering challenging and open learning activities. Staff encourages children to use their imagination and further develop self-confidence, respect for others and understanding of the world around them.  The program is displayed in each room’s notice board and parental feedback is encouraged. As kids grow, their needs change, keeping this in mind, Kiddies Corner is set up in 5 different locations within close proximity enabling us to focus on the requirements of each age group and category differently, while keeping the management simple, efficient and effective.
