Pragati Public School offers day education for boys and girls from 3 – 17 to develop and thrive in a small, caring environment. Founded in the year 2001, the school has been educating children for the last 8 years ! However, the last couple of years have been particularly stimulating time, as we are able to offer seamless continuity of education from the Nursery to the Senior School.

Teachers assist students to cope with the homework and assignments & their academic assessments. These include task-sheets, remedial classes and enrichment classes. Frequent assessments help students to gain confidence and keep regularity which is essential for comprehensive learning.
Evaluation in the school is objective and continuous in both scholastic and non-scholastic areas. Unit tests, Term Exams are held in core subjects which include English Language, Hindi, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Social Studies, Integrated Science, Sanskrit, French etc. Project work, Assignments, Marks obtained in Unit Tests, Half Yearly exams and Annual exams are together considered for declaring the result and promotion to the next class. Grades are assigned in General Knowledge, Moral Studies, Computer Science, Sports, Physical Education, Art, Craft, Dance and Music.

The building of the Pragati Public School was constructed in the year of 2000. The school has a built up area of approx. 75000 sq. ft. and has a sprawling lawn, well landscaped. The school has its own Reverse Osmosis Plant (water purification and filtration plant by osmasis) manufactured by Thermax, Pune and the entire water distributed in the school is purified and filtered through this plant before consumption. The school has well lit classrooms where special care has been taken to ensure sufficient supply of sunlight and fresh air. The fire fighting equipment has been properly installed at all the floors to take care of any eventuality.
Basic sports facilities in football, cricket, skating, karate, Lawn tennis, basketball, badminton, handball and all track and field events are provided in the school. The School takes pride in having well equipped labs for Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Bio, Psychology, Computer Sc. & Home Sc. with internet connection. The School also has a fully equipped Audio Visual hall which is used for showing multimedia CD’s from time to time.
The School lays a lot of emphasis to the co-curricular activities like Music, Dance, Art & Craft, Pottery, Puppetry, Story telling and many more. Educational trips to places like, Railway Museum, Doll Museum, Nehru Planetarium, National Museum, and Zoo are being organized during the year for the children. In order to enable an all round development of the children, function like Grandparents Day, Annual Sports Day, Winter Carnival are being organized.
Sports form an integral part of the curriculum. The school has a skating rink, Lawn Tennis Court and an indoor Badminton Court. Besides these, adequate facilities for outdoor games like Football, Cricket, Skating, Volleyball, Hockey, Lawn Tennis, basketball, badminton, handball, Karate are provided. The school also has splash pool for tiny Pragatians.
The school has a well equipped library to inculcate good reading habits. A library period is a part of the time table of each class and each teacher. The library provides teachers a wide range of reference books and material to enrich their knowledge to be used effectively in class room teaching and other activities. The School also conduct workshops for time management, puppetry, theatre, Art & Craft, positive attitude etc. from time to time
The school has its own fleet of eco-friendly CNG buses to ferry the children. Excellent Metro connectivity is also available.
