Shiv Vani Model Sr. Sec. School is run by a registered society - Shiv Vani Educational Society, its members comprising eminent educationists of Delhi. At the helm of affairs of the institution are Founder Chairman Sh. B. D. Narula and the Manager Smt. Sneh Narula. Overcoming the teething troubles of the early years, the two stalwarts have nurtured the institution with tireless efforts and dedication aided & supported by the zealous commitment of the faculty.

The school curriculum up to class VIII is based on the recommendation of N.C.E.R.T. this covers the following subjects : English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, EVS, Sanskrit, Drawing, Physical/Health Education, Value Education, Life Skills, Environment Education and G.K. from class IX to XII, courses prescribed by the central Board of secondary education are taught.
